Omsk radio club

Hi! Thank you for finding time to visit my home-page which is dedicated to my main hobby – i.e. ham radio. I would like to thank also my friends Sergei RA9MX (WEB-master) and Alex UA9MHN (in charge of translation into English, Spanish, Italian etc.) without whose help you wouldn't be able to read these lines. I was born on August 6th, of 1959 in the Region of Kemerovo. I made my first acquaintance with ham radio when studying in Omsk. In autumn of 1978 just by case I entered the room of my University's club station UK9MBA and remained there for 5 years - hi. It was there where I learned the Morse alphabet, made my first QSO, and got my first SWL call-sign – UA9-146-031. After graduating I moved to the town of Topki, Region of Kemerovo, and since then have been living here. Some circumstances for much time didn't allow me to get my ham license. First I got a SWL call-sign – UA9-130-1305, later it was changed to RA9-007-KE, and finally to R9U-007. After I got my ham call UA9UAX I still didn't give up my SWL habits and at present I go on SWLing and sending my SWL cards. Referring to ham-radio I'am rather interested by DX-ing (my actual record is 300 DXCC entities CFM) and awards (there are 250 different awards in my collection now). I'm proud to be member of DIG (# 4956) and KDR (# 47). This page is just an attempt to reflect my views on some aspects of ham-radio. If my forces and ideas don't exhaust as well as the patience of my friends, it will develop in the future and some new items will be added.
